It has all the creature comforts, includeing a double-height living room, a professional kitchen, a master bedroom, exercise, recreation and music rooms, a library and multiple terraces. A spokeswoman for the Australia star confirmed he had bought the palatial pad in one of New York's most salubrious buildings, the Meier Towers and the actor plans to move his wife Deborra-Lee Furness and children Oscar and Ava to the Big Apple next year to start work on new Broadway musical A Star Is Born.    

It has been said that the original price tag was $US40 million but Hugh was able to talk down the owners, what a  man! Look at the pictures of the house, with great sea view. I wish I could have one, but l guess we are all not that lucky.

Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan as we all know had a BIG fight in 2006 after Lohan started dating Hilton's ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos. Only just the other day Hilton split from Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden and now both the girls have joined hands again.

Paris Hilton tells Glamour magazine, "We're fine now. I think she's really changed. I saw her a month ago and she was really sweet and seemed really happy and we're all adults now. "Actually I've just decided not to fight with anyone because it's really not worth it." Let's see how long this friendship continues before one of them plays up!

Tom Cruise, 46 and Katie Holmes, 30 recently have received death threats from anti-scientology group. Both of them are living in fear since them and they are worried about their sweet little daughter Suri. Sources close to the star, say the threats are believed to have come from groups opposed to the religious organization. Protesters have been angered by Cruise's portrayal of Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg - who was at the centre of the 1944 plot by Nazi officers to assassinate Adolf Hitler - in the film Valkyrie.

The couple now lives at separate locations and move around in bomb-proof vehicles. 'The threats are perceived to be so great that the FBI has been alerted,' said a source. ‘Tom is terrified. He doesn't feel safe anywhere,' the source added. Now l think that is so sad, that you have to live in fear, regardless of who you are.
