Wesley Snips Sentenced to 3 Years in Federal Prison

Today Wesley Snips was sentenced to a 3 years in federal prison for tax evasion. The 45 year old star was stone faced when the sentence was sent down.

"I'm very sorry for my mistakes and errors. I apologize to my family, the court and the community," Snipes said as his wife looked on. "I've asked the court to show me mercy and the opportunity to make things right."

At least Snips knows martial arts. Imagine if he had the fighting skills of Pee Wee Herman, and he had to fight off the butt raiders of the night. This reminds me of Shawshank Redemption... "I wish I could tell you he put up the good fight and the sisters left him alone".
