Will Smith - Hollywood's highest paid star

Will Smith has topped the list of Hollywood’s Highest Paid Actors.

The Hancock actor – who has made $US80 million ($83 million) in the last year – became the first ever actor to have eight consecutive movies break the $US100 million ($104 million) mark at the box office.

His earnings caused him to shoot to the top of Forbes magazine’s list, ahead of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street star Johnny Depp who earned $US72 million ($74.8 million).

Eddie Murphy and Mike Myers came joint third with earnings of $US55 million ($57 million) each, and Blood Diamond star Leonardo DiCaprio rounded off the top five after making $US45 million ($46.8 million) last year.
