Miss Universe 2008 was seen at the Global Leadership Awards

Miss Universe 2008 Dayana Mendoza attended the 2008 Global Leadership Awards Gala at The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel October 1, 2008 in New York City. She loked amazing and it was no wonder she won the crown! She was the first to present an award to Dr. Larry Brilliant, executive director of Google.org, who was honored with his organization for their work in addressing issues of climate change and forging global partnerships to help the developing world.

The 22 year-old former Miss Venezuela was born in Caracas and speaks three languages - Spanish, English and Italian. Although Dayana had a successful modeling career, her lifelong ambition is to become either an interior designer or work in the field of advertising.
