Jamie Spears, Britney's father stood for her at her driver's license trial. Her attorney, J. Michael Flanagan, said in his opening statement that she was exempt from having a California driver's license because she didn't meet residency requirements. During the question session, Jamie Spears acknowledged that his daughter got married, had two children and divorced in California.

Her father testified that Louisiana is home for Britney and she had a Louisiana license at the time of the accident. But again its not been proved that she has a driving license for California as well.

According to Prosecutors Spears is guilty and should be convicted. If all the charges are proved she faces up to six months in jail and a $1,500 fine. All in all l do not think that's a bad deal. Can you imagine Britney in jail!
