Patrick Swayze: 1952-2009

The Legend Patrick Swayze died today finally giving in to the cancer he battled so long. Swayze for the past two years had battled pacreatic cancer, but finally couldn't fight any longer. Swayze will be known for iconic movies such as Ghost, Dirty Dancing, and my personal favorite Red Dawn. The man was inspiration to many.

More than that many of us old farts remember Ghost or Dirty Dancing being the first romance flick we saw. Some of us got our first kiss from a girl while our teenage sweetheart swooned over Swayze. For that I say thank you. The world will never be the same.

The death of a DJ

New York's nightlife community is conveying its grief these past few days after the death of DJ AM, who was well renown for his spinning prowless.

"We are very sad to lose such a talented person in our industry," Mark Birnbaum and Eugene Remm, partners of the EMM Group, whose nightlife empire includes Tenjune, told PEOPLE in a statement. "He will be missed and this is a terrible loss for all of us."

DJ AM has been rumored to have been with several different celebrities within the last month. No one is coming out so the secret died with him.

The Day The Music Died.

This is a sad day for all, a gloomy cloud now hovers over the world music. This truly is the day the music died. The last great entertainers, musicians... dare I say Icons has now left us. At 2:30 P.M. today, the king of pop, Michael Jackson passed away at a Los Angeles hospital due to a cardiac arrest.

We will left with the memories of little 10 year old Michael singing with the Jackson 5. He taught us are ABC's, taught us the meaning of "thriller", and made us look in the mirror to see if we can make a change. His music touched generations, selling over 60 million albums world wide. Although the last ten years of Michael has been stained by the accusations of child molestation, no one will ever doubt the gloved ones talent, ambition, and effect on the music industry. Today a piece of us all have passed away. RIP Michael.

Paula Abdul's number one fan Found Dead near home

‘American Idol' season five contestant Paula Goodspeed, 30, was found dead in a car near Abdul's Los Angeles house on Tuesday Night. She was obsessed with Paula Abdul and the case is being investigated as a possible suicide, with the cause of death is suspected to be a drug overdose.

"Ms. Goodspeed's mother had gone to [the sheriff's department] to report her daughter missing, and advised them that she might be suicidal," says Los Angeles police Capt. James Miller. "The sheriffs determined that Ms. Goodspeed may be up in the vicinity by Paula Abdul's house. Our officers discovered her vehicle parked on the street, and found her inside. She was unresponsive to officers." The woman's car featured a license plate "ABL LV" and had a photo of Abdul hanging from the rear view mirror, according to Fox News video taken at the scene. A DMV check of the license showed that the car was registered to Goodspeed.

When the body was found Abdul was at the studio and wasn't aware of it until she was told by the network. "I am deeply shocked and saddened at what transpired yesterday," Abdul said in a statement. "My heart and prayers go out to her family." What has the world come to? RIP

Leonardo DiCaprio is grieving the death of his beloved grandmother, Helene Indenbirken, as mentioned by PEOPLE. Leonardo was very close to his grandmother, who he often took to his premieres and on to his movie sets. He once told Vanity Fair, "She is literally gangsta, and I mean that with an 'a.' She will tell people exactly what she thinks to their face and look them in the eye."

Mary-Kate not involved with Heath Ledger's death

Mary-Kate Olsen is now intertwined in The Dark Knight's actor Health Ledger's death who died due to the overdose of painkillers drugs oxycodone and hydrocodone.

Her lawyer issued a statement Monday (August 4), as mentioned by PEOPLE claiming that the actress had no involvement with the accidental drug overdose that killed Heath Ledger earlier this year and has already cooperated with police. Olsen is completely unaware of drugs that were found in Heath Ledger's home or in his body, and she does not know where he obtained them.

Amy Winehouse Thinks She Is Going To Die

Amy Winehouse is one cigarette short of a dirt nap, and still finds the time to hang out with fans. That would normally be courageous, but you kind of lose the hero vibe when you pop a fan in the mouth. Winehouse's spoke person said that the fan tried to put his hand in the goody jar (barf) and Amy was just defending herself. As the mere thought of Amy's nasty no no spot makes me rush to the bathroom, I came up with another reason...she thinks she is going to die! After listening to some of her last comments you get the feeling she knows the crypt is calling and wants to go out with a bang. People Magazine reports:

"You Know I'm No Good." Before she sang "Wake Up Alone," she told the crowd, "I wrote this one for [incarcerated husband] Blake [Fielder-Civil.] I thought I'd never see him again." The beleaguered Brit, 24, then mumbled a bit, and told the crowd: "I've only got two weeks left of this predicament, so this one's for you, Blake."

George Carlin: The Legend

I know reports from George Carlin's death has been out for a while now, but I really didn't know what to say. I really am unfit to talk about Carlin, as he was a legend and I am a guy who masterbates to online porn. With that being said I will let someone who is a bit more elegant say the words for me:

" The Manhattan-born comedian, who always said his often-cynical satire simply reflected his real-life disdain for mankind's greed, stupidity and inconsideration, had a history of heart problems. He also did a stint in rehab in 2003 for drug dependency. The TV network Comedy Central in 2004 named him the second best standup comedian of all time, behind Richard Pryor. Late last week the Kennedy Center announced he would receive its annual Mark Twain prize for American humor this November. Carlin became one of the most popular standup comedians in America in the 1960s and early 1970s through programs like "The Ed Sullivan Show. He will be missed"
