Madonna has reached a divorce settlement with Guy Ritchie, and she will pay her ex between $76 million and $92 million, her spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg tells the Associated Press. Rosenberg says the figure includes the value of their country home Ashcombe, in western England, as well as the couple's London pub, the Punchbowl. "I'd assume it's one of the largest payouts ever in a divorce settlement," as mentioned by PEOPLE. However, they have decided to celebrate Christmas together at Guy's countryside estate in Ashcombe, England for the happiness of their children. The divorcing couple have temporarily ceased their custody battle for the sake of their kids.

Madonna, 50, has been touring in South America, will arrive in Britain on December 23 with their son Rocco, eight, adopted son David, three, and her daughter Lourdes and spend several days here. A source close to the pair told The Mail on Sunday: ‘Madonna and Guy want the best for the kids and so she has decided to come over to the UK so they can be with their father.' Ritchie, who is working on his new movie Sherlock Holmes, spends most of the week in his new London home. ‘Guy is happiest with his kids and in the countryside,' a friend said last night. As the kids have gone through tough time this year he wants to treat them to a really special Christmas with stockings of presents and a big tree. Guy can't wait, He's so looking forward to having some quality time with his son and he will spoil him rotten. Not with expensive gifts but little treats like letting Rocco watch some TV and eat a few sweets.'  Well, well that's normal for most kids, but then again, not all have a mother called Madonna.

Guy Richie and Madonna will finally get divorced at the High Court in London on Friday, as they end their eight years of marriage. London's Evening Standard reports that Madonna will keep the bulk of her estimated $500 million fortune intact, though Ritchie was entitled by law to a share of it. It was decided that Rocco and David will split time between the U.S. and London, while Lourdes, whose father is Carlos Leon, will live with her mother.

"[Madonna] walked away without any of his money, much to her credit," a friend told the U.K.'s Times. "He has done the same." "He could have hugely boosted his bank balance and set himself up for life, but he already feels he has enough money," another pal told the paper. "He also didn't want the whole thing dragging on in the public gaze for months and months and, in any case, his priority was the children's future." However a source close to the couple insists that's not true. "He's going to get a huge windfall, contrary to what's being reported," the source tells PEOPLE.

After splitting last month, Madonna has been linked with baseball star Alex Rodriguez (but now he is also linked with the HOT Jessica Simpson) and Guy Richie was seen enjoying the freedom with his friends. All the best to the both of them!

They have both requested that the media maintain respect for their family at this difficult time," says the statement. "The main concern for Madonna and Guy are their children - the security of their children in all senses of the word and the wellbeing of their children," rep Liz Rosenberg tells PEOPLE. "That's the priority for both of them moving forward. It's a sad situation."
