Celebrities, Musicians, Politicians, and fans from all walks of life flocked to the Staples Center, in Los Angeles California today for Michael Jackson's Memorial. During the memorial we heard from Rev. Jessie Jackson, Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant and others. We heard songs by Lionel Richie, and Mariah Carey. But the most touching moment by far must have been when  Michael Jackson's 11 year old daughter, Paris talked about her Daddy.

"I just want to say ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you can ever imagine. And I just wanted to say I love him so much," Paris-Michael Jackson said before almost collapsing in the arms of her aunt Janet Jackson.

As much as we either reviled him for his checkered past or loved him for musical ability, I believe sometimes we forget he is a human being. A son, a father...a man. We might miss his songs but Paris just lost her dad.

Michael Jackson, 50, is reportedly suffering from a potentially fatal lung disease, as mentioned on yahoo.com. The "King of Pop" has a medical condition called Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, a uncommon genetic illness, an unconfirmed report said, adding that he may have to undergo a lung transplant. "He's had it for years but it's gotten worse," Ian Halperin, author of a book on Jackson, told In Touch magazine. "He needs a lung transplant but may be too weak to go through with it... (But) it's the (gastrointestinal) bleeding that is the most problematic part. It could kill him."

It is said  he can barely speak and is almost blind on his left eye, because if we think about it he do no hear about him much these days. His brother Jermaine Jackson told TV channel FOX News: "He is not well." I cannot believe it, but l guess there must be something wrong for a black man to actually change his skin colour and appearance, even though he says it's something that accorded naturally, l wonder.
