Carly Smithson, yesterday's newest washout, is starting to make excuses for why she was let go over the men. According to Ok Magazine Carly believes that it was the guy's good looks that gave her the boot. I think Smithson has been smoking something fierce. This is what she had to say:

Spoiler: Shocking Results Send Carly Smithson Home!

I know that most of you want to actually watch the show before you have people like us tell you the winner, but then again you are here. Be prepared for a shocker tonight as Carly Smithson packs her bags for home. The bottom two was a complete shocker to me in all truth. Syesha Mercado and Carly Smithson should have been in the Top 4 not on the chopping block tonight. Brooke White forgot what she was singing and Jason Castro was a train wreck. Proves again that American Idol is not a talent contest but a beauty contest. I suggest you vote only for the dynamic duo of David's the rest of the way or you could see a Brooke Castro showdown...God help us all.

American Idol: David Archuleta Continues to Amaze

David Archuleta continues to amaze! The kid sings like a pro and by far out shines any other contestant on American Idol. I think the only person that is going to give the young star some problems might be David Cook and his sweet melodies.
